Solve these questions

Dear all,
Try these questions on a foolscap paper. Draw your model and it would be good to do your plan.

Question 1
Shane had twice as many hairclips as Alice. Terry had twice as many hairclips as Shane. Terry then bought another 50 hairclips. Shane made some hairclips and Alice bought another 260 hairclips. In the end, the three girls had the same number of hairclips.  How many hairclips did Shane make?


Question 2
Carl and Gary went shopping with the same amount of money. After Carl spent $450 and Gary spent $94, Gary had thrice as much money left as Carl. How much money had each boy at first?

Question 3
A box contained 217 blue, green and red beads.There were thrice as many blue beads as green beads and 18 more green beads than read beads. How many red beads were there?

Question 4
Ramy had some stickers. After giving 130 stickers to Dan, he had twice as many stickers as Dan. Dan had  155 stickers in the end. How many more stickers did Ramy have than Dan at first?

Question 5
Joe collected 8 more game cards than Ivan. Nick collec ted twice as many game cards as Joe. Joe and Ivan collected a total of 274 cards. How many more game cards did Nick have than Ivan?
